The experience…
Our Afternoon Tea Menu begins with a selection of savouries, including truffled egg mayonnaise and watercress brioche, smoked salmon with horseradish and pickled cucumber, coronation chicken and apricot finger sandwiches, and an Isle of Wight goat’s cheese, caramelised onion and walnut tartlet.
Then come the freshly baked scones.
Choose from plain and raisin, served with clotted cream, blackberry preserve and whipped cinnamon butter — a distinctly autumnal take on an afternoon tea favourite.
Save room for something sweet…
The final tier is where autumn really comes into its own.
Think spiced pumpkin tart with toasted oat cream and pecans, blackberry and vanilla choux bun, and a toffee apple mousse hiding a caramel centre beneath its chocolate shell. There’s also a dark chocolate and orange pebble, pear and almond gâteau, and hazelnut macaron with praline buttercream.
Pumpkin, blackberry, apple, pear, cinnamon, orange and hazelnut — some of our favourite flavours of the season, transformed into something rather special by our pastry team.
