Dog Policy

Dogs at The Albion

1. A maximum of 7 dogs are permitted within hotel at any one time.
2. Dogs must be under 25kg in weight.
3. The first night charge is £50.00 per pet, with subsequent nights charged at £20.00 per pet.
4. Well-behaved dogs only. If a dog causes a nuisance to other guests, we reserve the right to ask guests to leave.
5. Dogs are not permitted in the Rock Restaurant and are to dine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the Cabin or on the Terrace only. (At the hotel discretion)
6. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst inside the hotel.
7. Dogs may be left alone in bedrooms during meals, provided they are happy and quiet.
8. Water bowls and dog towels are available at reception.
9. Dog beds and towels can also be provided in rooms.
10. We kindly ask that dogs are taken clear of the porch area before relieving themselves.
11. Dogs are not permitted on Freshwater Bay beach between 1st May and 30th September. Please be courteous to other beach users during this period. Reception can recommend alternative walks, including Tennyson Down, which is just a 5-minute walk away.
12. Guests are responsible for their dog at all times and will be liable for the repair costs of any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear.
13. Dogs are not allowed on soft furnishings anywhere within the hotel.
14. Dogs are not permitted in the residents’ lounge.
